Show Rules

1.

All competitors enter at their own risk whilst every care will be taken at our shows, we cannot be held responsible for loss, damage or injury caused to yourself, dogs or property.

2.

Dogs must be over 18 calendar months to compete at Agillidogz shows.

3.

Young dogs (16 to 18 month) NOT eligible to compete in the main classes, can enter Starters steeplechase and Pairs classes only.

4.

Dogs must have received suitable training to use all equipment in a safe manner.

5.

We reserve the right to question any dog’s height when entered at Agillidogz shows.          We accept both KC and UKA measurements.

Competitors can also choose to compete at a height lower than measured if prefer and can still run for competition.

6.

We reserve the right to refuse entries.

7.

If the show is oversubscribed entries will be limited.

8.

We reserve the right to combine / split classes depending on entries.

9.

All competitors when entering the show agree to help with ring party duties as this enables us to keep the show running smoothly.

10.

Anybody caught harsh handling their dog whilst at the show will be asked to leave.

11.

Dogs must be kept under control and on a lead except when competing or within the exercise area.

12.

Dogs must not wear any type of slip, half-slip collar or lead whilst competing.                                   

A flat close-fitting leather or webbing collar is permitted. No tags please.

The use of pinch collars, electric shock collars or prong collars are NOT permitted to be worn any time at the show or venue boundaries.

13.

No food to be taken into the rings either in your hand, toy or pocket.

14.

When queuing please leave atlease 2m distance from other handlers/dogs and leave the entrance and exits clear at all times.

15.

It is the competitor’s responsibility to be available for their classes on time.

16.

Entry fees will NOT be refunded after the closing date.

17.

If a show has to be cancelled, Agillidogz reserves the right to deduct unrecoverable expenses incurred before returning entry fees.

18.

Anyone found not picking up after their dogs will be asked to leave the venue.

19.

Any dog that has been exposed to any infectious diseases or contagious disease during the 21 days leading up to the show must not be brought within the show boundaries.

20.

Bitches in season must not be brought within the show boundaries.

21.

The Judge’s decision is final.

22.

Judges may run their own dogs for competition when NOT judging.
